The Unione Velica Maccagno offers a complete program aimed at spreading sailing knowledge in an ideal environment for this sport, thanks to the alternating thermal winds: the Tramontana, the cool north wind that gives the thrill of speed, and the Inverna, the warm south wind.
Aboard Bug and O’Pen Bic dinghies for girls and boys under 14, and Laser (ILCA) dinghies for older teens and adults, students learn the skills needed to sail a sport dinghy independently and safely.
The FUN keelboat is ideal for those who enjoy team spirit and want to learn how to sail as part of a crew, both for cruising and racing.
Our Sailing School is recognized by the F.I.V. (Italian Sailing Federation) and works with certified federal instructors.
The 2026 youth dinghy courses will take place from Monday to Friday during June, July, and August. Starting this year, overnight accommodation is available in the new guesthouse.
The 2026 adult dinghy or keelboat courses will take place on week ends.
